Alana is a multi-instrumentalist hailing from Queens, NY. When she's not teaching music lessons and classes, she's watching Disney Plus, hanging out with her cat, and eating popcorn. Although a flute player by trade, Alana's true passion is singing backup harmony to mid-2000s pop punk crowd-pleasers. She would like to thank her incredible friends in the The New Normal for allowing her to live that dream.

Music has literally been a part of Austin's life since he was a child. His father was a musician and played in a variety of different bands in all genres, like classic rock, rockabilly and even doo wop. He bought Austin his first guitar when he was 5 years old. Austin started taking music lessons at his local music store when he was 10 years old and started playing classic rock, blues, punk, metal and anything else that peaked his interest. You name it, he’ll play it.

Eitan is an avid music lover who has been playing, writing, and performing music for over 15 years. His repertoire is eclectic, ranging from rock and metal, to classical, musical theater, and everything in between. You can hear his original compositions on television episodes such as “Countdown to UFC” on FX, “Behind the Music: Pitbull” on VH1, “Made” on MTV, and “Wreck Chasers” on The Discovery Channel. Eitan is a seasoned teacher who has shaped the musical experience of hundreds of young people. As Band Master General of Bach to Rock Port Washington, he has coached, trained, and booked scores of youth bands.

In 1993 the band Haddaway asked, "What is love?" In 2021 we have the answer. R.N. Jaidev is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from New Delhi, India, currently moonlighting as a teacher and all-around inspiring force. He is capable of withstanding temperatures in excess of 110F and is fluent in all styles of bass, including guitar. He is truly the bassist for all occasions.

Brendan is a multi-instrumentalist from Huntington, New York. Favorite instruments include piano, vocals, guitar and the bass clarinet. Unfortunately there was no room for the bass clarinet in this band, so instead you can find him sweating behind the drum set, his primary instrument. He’s so happy to be making music with The New Normal and rocking it out on the Long Island music scene.
